Minding Your Game- Mental Golf Training
As an NLP practitioner I often review mental golf training programs, some of them are rubbish but once in a while I come across a really good one. This is the case with 'Minding Your Golf' - Mental Golf Training by Canadian Wade Pearse.
Here's the description of Wade Pearse's mental game training program:
"Imagine...it's the 1st tee & you have no nerves, you have a 12 footer to win and you calmly drain the putt, you play in competition as relaxed as you do in casual rounds - confident, rhythmic, effortless golf"
Imagine possessing a method that lets you tap and direct the full power of your mind and channel it directly into your golf game to shoot lower scores?
Think about it...no more game killing nerves, missed pressure putts, blow-up holes when you have a chance to go really low and win a bet, match or tournament.
Ask yourself how much better you'd play if you could manage your mind and your game more effectively? If you knew a technique that literally unlocked the full power of your mind and let you focus and concentrate without effort. That put you in a score crushing trance?
'Minding Your Game' comes complete with the following items:
- 2 sections of the full Minding Your Game ebook
- 2 Professionally recorded Audio Coaching Sessions
- 2 Video Sessions with coaching on the key processes in the book.
- 3 Bonuses: Short Game ebook, Yoga ebook and a Kettlebell fitness workout Video
Excellent customer support for product.
As an aside, with reference to Tiger Woods, this is a very topical paragraph from the golf training material:
What do players on the PGA Tour say Tiger Woods' strongest asset is?
They all say it is Tiger's mind that separates him from the field on tour. It's interesting how they don't talk about his ball striking as the key. Or his putting. Or any of his physical skills. They unanimously talk about his mental toughness, his focus and commitment to each and every shot.
Tiger Woods' dominance is the direct result of how he uses his mind. If you're a pro golfer you know it's how well you use your mind and manage your game that determines the scores you shoot. If you're an average golfer you can accelerate your learning and how fast you break 80 by learning how to use this MindPower breakthrough.
As a supporter of Tiger Woods, I REALLY DO hope, that in his case, his mental strength is enough to get im through his current turmoil.
However, I digress, back to Wade Pearse's 'golf mental game' training !
Wade Pearse's background is in the field of personal development training and peak performance coaching. His business centered around working with top performers in all areas of life: athletes, corporate executives and virtually anyone who wanted to keys to their own excellence.
During this work, he discovered some truly phenomenal processes on how to use the mind to improve ANY area of a persons life. He states that although that's a huge claim to make, he can back it up. Especially in golf.
Most every player focuses on the swing as the only thing that matters to play great golf.
They buy golf training aids and $400 drivers every year. Thousands of dollars are spent on gimmiks in hopes of dropping even a few strokes.
But the average score of all golfers hasn't dropped more than 1 stroke in the past 25 years!
With big headed drivers that hit the ball a mile and sweet spots the size of a baseball, ultra-forgiving perimiter weighted irons, square grooved wedges and balls that spin less for added distance and scores really haven't improved more than 1 stroke on average. Don't you think there's something wrong with this picture?!
"I want to be what I've always wanted to be: dominant."
Tiger Woods
Tiger's mindset holds one of the keys.
How bad do you want to play well?
Is it merely a wish, a dream, a fantasy? Or are you truly ready to shoot the best scores of your life?
The MindPower Breakthough processes reveals the mental game strategies of Tiger Woods (as well as some of the best athletes in other sports that let them dominate thier sport)
Every golfer has heard the saying "It's all in your head" or "Golf is 90% mental" or "Golf is the most mentally demanding sport in the world."
Yet what do golfers do about it?
Well, most often absolutely nothing. But not necessarily because they don't want to: sometimes golfers actually think the mental game doesn't matter to them!
Many golfers get stuck into thinking that the mental game only matters for elite players or pros who make a living golfing. Nonsense!
EVERY golfer needs to use their mind properly
- It is your mind that determines how well you learn when taking lessons. (and this training course is packed with accelerated learning techniques)
- It is your mind that will allow you to set up to the ball correctly and commit to your swing (or not!).
- It is your mind that will either stay focused under pressure and get you to make a smooth, fluid stroke when you need to drain an 8 footer for the win or have you choking like a dog and collapsing like a house of cards when the heat is on!

This winter I used a lot of visualisation at the range after reading some of Maxwell Maltz’ stuff. It really works. Not just in golf but anything. This book looks like a good read, will have to pick it up. Great stuff here!
